We offer spacious, luxury apartments with one, two, three or four bedrooms. Serviced either on departure or weekly for longer stays, with on-site parking and a lift for easy access. Location / Distances

Crow’s Nest is ideally situated with the beach only 50 metres away and a 2 minute walk to the main street of Whitianga to explore the shops, cafes, restaurants, and ferry. The Lost Spring is close by in Cook Drive. Take a 30-45 minute drive south and discover Cooks Beach, Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Beautiful beaches such as New Chums and Otama are about a 30 minute drive north.

Directions to Property

Whitianga is just 2 1/2 hours from Auckland, via Thames and Tairua. From the airport head south to the southern motorway towards Hamilton. Travelling south on the Auckland Motorway, turn left onto SH 2, (signposted to Tauranga and Thames). After approximately 25 kilometres take SH 25 on the left to Thames/Coromandel. Follow signs to Thames. After crossing the Kopu bridge, turn right at the roundabout, following the sign to Tairua. Then take the first left on SH 25A. Stay on SH 25A. After approx. 1h 15 min drive you will arrive in Whitianga. Go straight ahead on the first roundabout until you reach the beach. Turn right and follow the road (Buffalo Beach Road). Look out for Mill Road (and the attached sign Crowsnest Apts) which is about 100m before you reach the Whitianga wharf.

Payment Policy

For Christmas, New Year, Scallop Festival Weekend and Auckland Anniversary Weekend – we require a non-refundable 50% deposit which will be charged to your credit card one month before your stay.
All other bookings require your credit card details to secure your booking. We will not charge your credit card prior to your arrival, the full amount is due on check-in. Check-in time is normally from 2:00pm to 7:00pm and check-out time is 10:00am. For arrival later than 7.00pm please call 0210 265 7474 to arrange your check-in.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees are at the discretion of Crow’s Nest Apartments Management.
You can cancel free of charge until 3 days before your arrival. (This is not applicable if you have paid a non-refundable deposit).
If you cancel within 3 days of your arrival, a minimum charge of one night’s tariff (up to 50% in the peak season from Dec – Feb) will be debited against your credit card plus an administration fee of $25.00. For no shows, your credit card will be charged the full booking amount.
No refund for early departure.

Check In Policy

By signing, I/We acknowledge and agree that I/We are jointly and severally liable for all accommodation costs and that it obligates us to comply with the following:
>The Crow’s Nest Apartments Body Corporate Rules in every respect, especially with regard to noise.
> We agree that the Management reserves the right to remove any guest/visitor who causes a disturbance to any other occupier (without refund).
> Any Damage/Loss, Theft or Costs in connection with all services provided by Crow’s Nest Apartments will be charged to the credit card provided.
>We agree that we will park our vehicle in the allocated parking number only.
>Any bedroom and/or bathroom used that was not part of the booking will be charged at the advertised nightly rate to the credit card provided.
